I did not Examine the 2nd item you described but will test it out on my upcoming disassembly. My Resolution thus far was to observe this method starting up at "sear spring prep":  For my existing 2lb 2oz induce pull, i had near 1lb 4 oz within the trigger return/disco on your own.
